Due to funding cutbacks, our research community has a greater need than ever before for alternative funding to support the continuation of vital research. Without additional support, many important discoveries will be delayed and progress will be deferred in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and related bone, mineral and musculoskeletal disorders. The ASBMR Fund for Research and Education, which will be supported by individual donations, will be used exclusively to provide research grants and training opportunities for basic and clinical researchers in the bone, mineral and musculoskeletal field.

Please note that any amount you can donate is appreciated and can be targeted for general funds or toward a specific grant or award. Your donation can fully fund a grant or award or you can make a contribution toward an award that will be made once the funding target is reached.

ASBMR welcomes all amounts of donation for the New Research Grants and Training Opportunities; however, the award cannot be given out until that total is reached.
